Great job on her part, is it only me or did it look like she laughed at the guy next to her and said “pussy!”.

Did they check the flying bat for rabies?

She reportedly got to keep the bat, which was later signed by Flowers himself. It was the VERY least they could do her. She saved them from a multi-million dollar lawsuit, had the bat hit the baby.

Looked more like luck than heroism to me. If she was “more concerned” with the baby behind me, she would heve had her whole body into it, instead of just throwing one arm up.
She got lucky, but all was well in the end.

...Chicago catcher Tyler Flowers lost his grip on his bat, it went flying into the stands above left field. If this guy heaved a ball bat from home plate into the left field stands... my advice to you is to not try and steal second when he is catching.

The parents are nuts. A baby should not be that close to the field between the baselines. And, nice catch by the lady.

Is it just me or does the "turtling" girly man look a lot like John Ritter? Or maybe John Elway.

Looks like she pushed the guy next to her down before reaching up to catch the bat.

Why do people with small children get tickets in the lower deck near the dugouts? Get upper deck seats, kids can’t pay attention to the game well enough to safely sit in expensive seats close to the field — especially babies.

What a lie! She had no thought of a baby behind her.

Here's a longer version of the event seen from a distance --
YouTube. From this angle it appears that the man may have shielded his head and leaned in front of the woman. He may have been trying to protect her. I can't tell for sure, but it's possible. The bat appeared to be coming low, but it bounced off the dugout and went above him.
