Wonder what their reaction would have been if the woman had been talking loudly to a friend standing right beside her?

I grew up in the (bussed in) ‘hood. It is called “loud talkin’” and it is so common that it is well accepted within that culture. It is like a contest and everyone’s ears lose.

Iranistan is the name of a P.T. Barnum mansion which was destroyed by fire back before Bridgeport turned into a slum. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iranistan

A police officer in the parking lot behind fire headquarters could hear Brown talking on her phone, and told her to lower her voice. Police said the woman responded that it was none of the officer's "f------ business," and was issued the infraction in return.

And thus Equasha was quashed.

It is called “loud talkin’” and it is so common that it is well accepted within that culture.

And the other thing is repeating the same shouted phrase over and over, at top volume.

Hate that.

Funny thing, they turn the volume up until the speakers and microphone distort or rip out, then they think they have to talk louder, because nobody understand them anymore.
