Houston Mayor Forces All to Open Girls Rooms to Men (The liberal insanity continues).
Breitbart ^ | 29 May 2014 | Bob Price

HOUSTON, Texas—Houston’s bathrooms, showers, and dressing facilities will now be open to all, regardless of gender, gender identity, gender expression, or other predilection of gender behavior. By an 11-6 vote of the Houston City Council, Mayor Annise Parker achieved this as the crowning jewel of her tenure as mayor.

Mayor Parker, Houston’s first openly gay mayor, said passing this ordinance was not the most important thing she has done in office, according to an article in the Fairfield Citizen, but it is the “most personally meaningful thing I will ever do as mayor.”

Houston Council Member, At Large Position 3, Michael Kubosh took exception to this. Kubosh told KPRC TV, "It's going to criminalize people that have been found in violation in the ordinance and the fine could be between $500 to $5,000."

In an interview with Breitbart Texas, Kubosh said, “The system is flawed and has little, if any, transparency. I did everything I could do to get the ordinance delayed or defeated, but the mayor controlled the whole process.” Kubosh said he voted against the ordinance along with District A Council Member Brenda Stardig, District D Council Member Dwight Boykins, District E Council Member Dave Martin, District G Council Member Oliver Pennington and At Large Position 5 Council Member Jack Christi.

Stephen Costello, the At Large Position 1 Council Member who supported Mayor Parker on the Proposition 1 “Rain Tax” ordinance, joined ten other council members in standing beside Mayor Parker.

Just blatant proof that these sexual identity-disordered people are mentally unfit and degenerate, unable or unwilling to comprehend and respect natural order, privacy, decency, and the fundamental concepts of a civilized society.

When things [predicably] go horribly wrong (”wrong” in a sane person’s mind, anyway), you know the answer will NOT be to repent of their perverse “liberty” and stop the insanity. Oh no, the “answer” to newly created problems will be CAMERAS! So all you prudes and paranoids can be safe knowing that some perv behind a camera is watching every... movement (and uploading it all to youtube and/or PPV peeper-porn collections, NSA). If we thought TSA was bad...

I figure it’s a logical next step. After all, the populace has been conditioned away from any expectation of privacy.

Open borders - open restrooms... the camel’s nose under the tent, or stall as it were.

Sodom is looking more like a sanctuary in this day and age.

I think the first girl that refuses to shower with a tranny could be charged with a hate crime

There’s lots more in this ordinance than just the bathroom issue. Woe unto any business that discriminates because of race, sexual preference, color, etc. The tribunal will find them guilty, regardless of whether they are or not, and assess heavy fines. I really look for a lot of businesses to close their doors and move out of Houston once this begins.

I think girls should start carrying baseball bats to the restroom. “I was just practicing my swing!”

Houston used to be a conservative city even when run by dims. My parents moved us there in the mid 1960’s. I left in 1980. From back then to now, the city government has catered to dimrat voters to the point that more and more right thinking people gave up and left for the outlying suburbs. Those suburbs are more like Houston was 40 years ago. The city is now run by people elected by those left behind.

Anise Porker was elected three times. During her first two terms, she never brought this up. This is her last term, so she is free to do what she wants. Also having a compliant city council helps.

I was absolutely sure this must be satire.

Texas.

Freaking Texas!

I still feel that I’ve been taken in by a particularly artful spoof!

Michael also calls her Denise Porker. Can hardly wait for his show to come on today. I’m sure Porker won’t be tuning in.

BTW did you know Michael Berry used to be on the City Council? He was term limited off.

Not satire unfortunately.
Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio are infected with the same deadly disease. Democrats.
The rest of the state is still uninfected.

It will be unaccompanied children who will be in the greatest danger. Signs should be posted warning parents who do not know that this evil now exists in Houston.

The term limit for mayor is three terms.
And she admitted that this issue was all about her and two gay men on city council. Guess she showed the city where her loyalties are.
