Quinn and Rose are off the air, and we await word that they are, hopefully, returning soon. Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have! So grab your coffee - or whatever you choose to start your day - and drop in for some political chit-chat, or just to shoot the breeze! First bit of news breaking today. Some Pittsburgh radio stations sold - including WJAS. I wonder what the plans are for those stations! There’s always hope - right?! Start praying folks!
Second bit of news - Mr S and I celebrate 33 years of marriage today! May 30, 1981. How time has flown! We’re doing steaks on the grill! Hopefully son and wife and grandbaby will join us!

Just got back from shopping for grand kid food and I am exhausted!
It's been a whirlwind overnight with the news made public that WJAS is sold. Not just sold but to a group that already programs Rush, Beck, Hannity, Savage, Doyle and more on a station in Warren PA.
The hole in the line up is perfect for America's Morning Show with Q&R!
NOT saying it's going to happen but there is hope and at least a few things are beginning to move.
Another clue will be if WPGB goes country as rumored. Rush et al would be available to change stations albeit to an AM.
I for one am excited!
I'd like to tweet Quinn with a couple of things BUT my record of tweeting isn't exactly stellar and I don't want to jinx anything.
Probably shouldn't have said what I have already but...what the hey.
There is STILL a lot to have to fall into place. Don't get hopes too high just yet.

Great news from P6 on WJAS! Except I’m not sure if I can “get” that am (or anyone other than KD) out here in the hinterlands.

Woohoo! Lets hope the pieces fall into place for Q&R! I have to be sure to not build my hopes up too much. Couldn’t take another letdown!
Meanwhile, would any of those stations have live streaming on the internet? Podcasts? I can’t get them via radio where I live.

Thanks! I look in the mirror and am definitely not the young bride I used to be! I look like the 59 year old grandma that I am. And I’m really, really happy about that! lol! Things happen as they should - in God’s own time - as they are meant to. We’ve been incredible blessed. We’ve made it through some very tough times. Mr S deserves a place in heaven! :-))

We don’t even get KDKA very well out here. Lots of interference until we get closer to town. We pretty much live in a ‘dead zone’ as far as cell and radio reception. Well, except for the local stations - and I never listen to those!
As is WJAS signal does not reach you. That could change but it would take awhile. I am positive they would podcast...might be a paid subscription though.
Anything is possible.

The whole 9/11 gift shop itself made a lot of people uneasy, but the cheese plate marking the places of attack is the last straw. It’s beyond tacky.
