well had i waited until august which was my original plan, i prob would not have been as lucky. i do not do implants under any circumstances, my insurance doesn’t cover dime one of those and they sound horrifically painful to me. I ask for whatever they can do which will be at least partially covered by insurance. My portion of today’s work was $600. Implants cost thousands of uninsured dollars. They push them bc of course they are the modern thing, but until insurance covers them i will not be a taker. Not like i have some oddball insurance- we have BS/BC, and a cadillac plan at that.

xsbaby and i stopped at the starbucks in Falls Church right after the appt. while in line a guy comes up to me and say’s,
i’m bad with names, i’m ford... and my mind is frantically scrolling through the rolodex of my life trying to figure out where i know the guy from- is it a Gonzaga dad, is he a St James parent? etc. He asked if i was “playing hooky today” so that was a clue that i must know him from work bc otherwise, how would he even know i am employed. i finally was able to figure out that he worked the same place that i did, but i hadn’t laid eyes on him in decades. He apparently lives in FC city, walking distance from that starbucks. i wish i had had the presence of mind to ask if he still works at our place of employ, but i was still taken aback. FC is sooo ridic. xsbaby and i were both gasping aloud bc we saw two separate vehicles with heretofore unseen obama bumper stickers. One said OMG, obama’s my guy in 2012. SERIOUSLY? then another one had I LOVE OBAMACARE and a second bumper sticker with a pic of obams and mooch embracing that said four more years. Can you possibly think that’s cool to still have on your car???

I saw an “I love Obamacare” sticker recently, too.

Remember, when you rob Peter, Paul loves the results.

None of mine were covered either. I have an $8000 deductible too. Dental insurance has not changed since the 80s, they still don’t cover fluoride treatments for anyone over 14. That’s crazy. Every type of healthcare expense has shot up yet they still will only cover $1000 of expenses per year and I can do that in a 20 minute visit. I need to think of something else or my head will explode.

It wouldn’t be cool here, but up there, almost everyone is on the government dole, one way or the other.

I haven’t seen a positive Obama bumper sticker anywhere out here since the tourists all went away because of their darling’s bad economy.

If someone showed up with a sticker like the one you describe and parked at a local business, they might not even have a vehicle left when they came back outside-no one here is happy about the ruin of our tourist industry-those snowbirds were a big part of our economy-my customers included...

my kids fluoride was covered until age 18 and then they stopped getting it. They use ACT rinse at home and call it good. our insurance covers cleaning and checkup every six mo. and a portion of fillings, crowns, root canals etc. To me it’s better than nothing at all, and i will go toothless rather than have an implant!

we live in very different parts of the country, but i still assumed that there would be some disaffection from his cause. our economy is also not bad here, so that wouldn’t be a reason. but then again, they elected carpet-bagger McAuliffe in the not so distant past.

You’re assuming they are unhappy with their choices. They’re not.

Which is why, going back to our discussion of yesterday about electing the most electable conservative, the unappeasables candidates of choice do not have a prayer of being elected. VA is center now, it was center-right, but has been trending center-left. Ken Cuccinelli was a fantastic conservative candidate, who was demonized for this conservative stands and defeated, albeit narrowly, by the carpetbagger, for governor. The country is at best center-right. Because of what happened in VA’s gov race, i have grave doubts that anyone vetted by the unappeasables would be able to be elected in a national race. TN is always going to go red, but they have very few electoral votes, so they are largely irrelevant. TX has a goodly number, but even TX isn’t as conservative as it once was.

The nonsense of liberals
Is not exactly neoteric-
Back in the 60’s and 70’s
It was pretty much generic

Peace sign and Che shirt,
And a sticker on the car
That says save the earth
Isn’t who they really are

Koolaid drinkers stoned on
The idea of everything free-
We’re tired of it-will they pay up?
I guess we’ll wait and see...

Then it’s one of those who pats themselves on the back for the compassion they have while using other peoples’ money.

Liberals are always happy with their choices as long as they are not the ones paying for those choices. My dad said they were phony elites, and believed everyone else should work for them like indentured servants, and he was right. I long to hear them howl when they have to live in the real world again, and I don’t care how mean I’m being-I have plenty of reason to be.

I actually don’t think they realize it is anyone else’s money-the liberals I know just have a blank look when you ask them where “government money” comes from-like there is some huge, magic piggy bank...

I believe we get just over a thousand a year, then we pay the balance. Cost me $2,000 for all my work.

Bite your tongue. I had a tooth break near the front....I felt like it was THE black hole. I was miserable until it was filled in. You will feel differently about it when you don’t have them.

A+++ Those stoned hippies are still living off the gov tit on disability now. It’s like we’re chained to them for life with welfare thrown in their, too.

This is the latest pic. It's from Blarney Castle and Gardens. Neo says "We were there." I assume that means they got out of their hotel room?
