JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - In the heat of summer, many Mississippians have described their air conditioners as "heavenly." But one Jackson County man says his AC actually shows the face of Jesus.
Christopher Goldsberry just bought the unit from a friend, who he describes as a modern day "Sanford and Son" type junk dealer. The friend had just bought a trailer full of stuff, and Goldsberry was looking over the haul when he spotted the face on an old, rusty AC unit.

I don’t like these stories. You see them a lot in the national news or UK news and its basically a way to say “look at those stupid, ignorant Christians who see Jesus or Mary in every day objects. Aren’t they backward?” and let the readers feel superior and have a good laugh. I don’t know this writers motives, but in many cases its anti-Christian bigotry, pure and simple. Especially when it shows up in UK papers. The comments under the articles bear it out.
