1961 Pontiac Catalina, white, blue interior, four doors, 329, automatic. No power steering or brakes. It was actually my dad's car, but after he bought a smaller more fuel efficient ride for going back and forth to work I inherited the Pontiac. 10 mpg on a good day, but at $.25/gal. who cared? Lots of fond memories of that car. A lot of driving too fast and a lot of steamed windows😉.

You lucky guy! I loved ‘61 Pontiac Catalinas...I fantasized about having one with the 348-horse 389 and 4 speed. They were fast! I had a car magazine with a road test of one. I read and re-read it a dozen times. I still think they are one of the coolest looking cars ever. (The 2-door hardtop, that is)
