Awwww, how sweet!

Yes, some cats can be very loving. I had one like that once and loved her back.

My current crop of 3 silver Persians are ‘nondemonstrative’. That’s what the book on breeds says about them - and it is spot on. I love them and admire them and especially love my little smart one. But they are VERY independent.

If we had one like yours, we probably wouldn’t have gotten the dog.

.

Our silver Chinchilla Persian, Angel, can be rather aloof- but her beauty makes up for it.
(She’s the same breed as the Fancy Feast cat in commercials)
She’s so fawned over by everyone who meets her, she thinks she’s the queen of Sheba. LOL

She can be really cute, though.
Before we had her spayed, one day she had come in season and was in the other room yowling.
I yelled at her, ‘Hey girl! You better stop that squalling!
Get in here!
She shut up and came into the room, sat down and just looked at me as to say, ‘alright alright already’. LOL
She would do this every time she started yowling and I yelled at her. No ‘Here kitty kitty’ necessary.

Pretty smart girl. She knew what I meant and knew that I meant it.
