I googled “Bob Hope, censors, and cheeks” and came up with this comment:
“LOL, That reminds me of the time that Bob Hope got censored (back in the late 50’s or early 60’s when censorship on TV was to the max) for makin’ a joke about women’s skirts getting so short they would soon hafta comb two sets of hair and powder two sets of cheeks”
