I’m just surprised that the mother bothered to marry the baby daddy.

Better to hold the baby as a bouquet.

The ultimate juxtaposition of clashing symbols—white dress and baby. It also doesn’t seem a terribly appropriate way to carry a baby.
All that aside, kudos to her and to the groom for getting hitched—in terms of what is good for the baby, that far eclipses the more petty issues.

Maybe it plopped out when she was walking and didn’t notice.
To: rightwingintelligentsia
It’s all fun and games until she leaks onto the dress.

poor child has no chance:
“The answer is we do what we want, when we want long as Jesus on our side everything worked out fine and gone continue to be fine,” she wrote. “Most important while y’all got ya feelings in us we had our hearts in Christ which covers all!! So keep ya mouths running for it was just that.”
She later joked she was glad she and her husband were not celebrities and then wrote “oops got fans, guess we is!”

It might have been a formal Tennessee wedding, if the shotguns were painted white.

What a precious baby! The mother? Not so much.
To: Hieronymus
I think she was simply making a statement that the child is unimportant and will always be in the background, I fear ill things in the future for this poor child with this kind of parentage.

Shona Carter-Brooks, of Jackson, Tenn., secured her
1-month-old daughter Maybe I'm missing something here. But it looks to me that...
One of these things is not like the other,
One of the things is not quite the same.

She had to wear white in order to drag the bastard behind?
Just as a matter of interest; I don’t blame, or intend to denigrate the child.
Dumbass mom and dad are the culpable parties here.

As long as there was no risk of harm to the baby, it’s nobodies business.
Let the woman have the wedding she wanted and if it included dragging a baby on a her wedding gown, so what?

I recognize English words in the mama’s texts but the combination makes no more sense than dragging the baby.
