Your scenario in your post #14 is a plausible one. I just don’t think Bowe will end up in the clink. His defense could be that he played along to get along if he indeed was a captive. Harder to explain is why he let himself fall into Taliban hands, which by all accounts I’ve read is what he did. But that notwithstanding, I don’t think he will be prosecuted if 0bomba and Holder have anything to say about it, and they do.

I was a platoon leader for a couple of years (Towed Vulcan and Chaparral). One of my most important jobs was knowing my soldiers. One of the best jobs I ever had.
