I seem to recall that some of the Pythons were writers for some of the earlier shows, but I could be wrong.

Aardman Animation does produce some gems. Probably their most cutting edge cartoon series was Angry Kid, which got quite gross after a while, but some of them are quite funny.

I introduced my son and his friend to it when they were eight years old. It inspired them to do create their own video of “how not to be seen.” I loved the Dirty Hungarian Phrasebook and of course the old classic “nudge nudge.”
And Vocational Guidance Counselor was especially funny since my wife is a accountant.
