Quinn and Rose are off the air, and we await word that they are, hopefully, returning soon. (Stand by) Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have! So grab your coffee - or whatever you choose to start your day - and drop in for some political chit-chat, or just to shoot the breeze! We are all coming from - or going to - work, but we all stop in to say hi! Feel free to join us!
RONALD REAGAN, speech, Aug. 17, 1992
(Talking about Bill Clinton)
Mornin’ everybuddy!
I’m thinking that the present occupier of the White House did - and still DOES - inhale!
Snap!
Hey, you got the photo?
Morning AM!
Good morning everyone.
I’m planning to call Mike Doyle’s office today and insist that the House begins articles of impeachment. Of course, I’ll get now where some he’s a rubber stamp for Obama, but at least I can harass his staff a bit.
Planted seeds 2 1/2 weeks ago...
Already 9 inches tall... YIKES!!
No, I replied to your e-mail. Didn’t have a picture attached!
Last weekend we planted green peppers, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, Irish potatoes, squash and wggplants. I also started brussels sprouts in pots. I hope they get big enough to plant out by the end of June. Got snowpeas, garlic, onions, lettuce, spinach, bush beans and pole beans started from seed. All doing well. The neighbor gave us some funny-looking onions to plant. Small, red, and in bunches. I separated them and planted them individually. I have no idea what kind they are!
I sent you another email since then..
My representative is Bill Shuster. He’s pretty conservative but always really quiet. I should give him a call as well. They need to hear from us in this issue!
Thanks AM - I’ll check it out!
My snowpeas are ready to start up the trellis and so are the Chinese Long Green and Red Noodle beans. Some of my pepper plnats are 14 inches tall and the tomatoes are right behind them.. radishes are 5 inches... cucumbers are doing fine...
LOL! I thought you were talking about the plastic Walmart bags! Is that gravel in the bottom? Corn is supposed to be “knee high by the Fourth of July”. Looks like you’re way ahead! Looks like you’ve got horseradish growing to the left of the corn. Ours bore a ton of blossoms this year. First year it did that since we first planted it three years ago!
Ours are all doing well too. HOWEVER, I have NO luck with cucumbers, for some reason. I gave up trying to grow them.
Yep.. 3 inches of pea gravel.. to conceal the 1 1/2 inch of water .. Rubbermaid box with float inside
Good morning!
FWIW...Clarification on the WJAS sale. The sale is just in the filing stage with the FCC. Most likely there will be no info released until after the FCC approval. That could take a long time although because of some aspects of the situation...arbitron violations resulting in HEAVY fines to my company...the FCC may move quickly.
Don’t forget about the war on right wing radio. Moving it in Pittsburgh to a limited AM station would be just fine with the FCC and the rats I’m sure.
So even though the no compete is up there may be other factors that limit what can be said.
Oh how I wish they were back on the air!!! Quinn, especially, would have a LOT to say! I’m just listening to another station and the guy is saying that, apparently, Obama was talking about wanting to release the five gitmo guys from the moment he got into the White House in January 2009!
CONGRESS!! IMPEACH THE TRAITOR NOW!!!!!
Bill Shuster is your rep? His father “Bud” was my rep in Altoona when I was a child. That must be a big district.
Yeah, it’s pretty spread out. The entirety of Indiana County is outlined!
