I just found myself posting criticism after criticism. But I do violate my no-posting-replies pledge when I have something good to say.. two posts in three months I think? :) I was impressed by his remarks Monday.

Well, the station did it again today, with late morning man Chris Plante doing double duty in the two hour afternoon slot. As DCRTV has told you, it’s no secret that the local management of WMAL would like its entire afternoon drive programming to be live and local. But the Atlanta-based suits at Cumulus have demanded that the station run Savage, who is syndicated by the company, in the 3 PM to 5 PM slot. With just an hour of locally-based news and talk hosted by morning man Larry O’Connor at 5 PM. As we wondered back in May: Is this a test to see how a full three hours of locally-based afternoon drive programming will go down with the station’s listeners? Hmmm.....
