One pair of rats can multiply up to 200 times in just one year.

How can that be if the gestation period is 3 weeks?

200 is the number of offspring.

The gestation time means nothing, the male NYC rat moves from one broad rat to the next. He doesn’t hang around for the birth. LOL

Many humans do the same thing, except we have to pay for their little spawns. I guess rats are better.
