I've spent a fair amount of my life on the water .... it exists; it can swallow you up and spit you out; it can calm you; provide your dinner; it can be a way to get from here to there.

I've never, ever tried to change it, just co-exist with it. Poor Gwyneth, she's jumped the shark.

My most memorable moments of life have been on the water and I pray when my time is near each event will be remembered precisely, so I can “cross the bar.” The beauty, power, tranquility, and fear are equal in intensity, when at its mercy, they are one in the same.......I am thinking that Gwyneth is referring to drinking water, tap or bottled.
