My wife gave birth to our fourth kid (VBAC) in the back of my truck on the way to the hospital. While the nurses were handy for repairs and cleanup, the actual birth didn’t require their knowledge in the slightest.
My oldest was breach the entire time. A C-Section was the only option for my wife, unfortunately.
I agree about the birthing-in-the-wild thing, but I’m really cynical about the “MUST USE HOSPITALS” mentality we have in the U.S. It seems to be more based on habit than any factual data, outlier cases notwithstanding.
I sure hope these films aren’t birth-porn, lol.
Babies have been popping out long before there were doctors, nurses and buildings of any type
This is insane. There is no excuse for putting their babies at risk.
