You’d think that Brazil would be almost like a second home for Germans...

*ducks*

“Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has been ruled out of France’s World Cup campaign, along with Lyon midfielder Clement Grenier.

Montpellier’s Remy Cabella and Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin will replace the duo, whose absence was announced by Didier Deschamps at a press conference in Clairefontaine ahead of his side’s departure to Brazil.”

So a Saint comes into the French selection, Morgan Schneiderlin.

Klinsmann doesn’t believe that and has already given the okay for his players to engage in World Cup extracurriculars.

A cardio workout is a cardio workout, everything else is superstition.

Now, given Brazil’s reputation, I’d thoroughly vet my “training partner” before trying of those workout regimens.

Most German soccer fans are not very optimistic. Brazil’s climate is hard to take for Germans, many important players have been injured, and many people feel that coach Löw’s philosophy puts too much emphasis on pretty play, instead of winning.

I looked over the German selection.

Remember Gary Lineker's quote.

Er, what was that quote?

Remember Gary Lineker's quote.
Ah, right. That one is always a good motto for every world cup :-D

A big pity.
As a Bayern fan I would have liked to see him playing in the WC.

And now one of the most important German players, Reus, seems to have injured himself. Just great…
