There are now 3 million Muslims in America, heavily centered in New York, California and Texas. Our state has 175 Muslim mosques, mostly located in Dallas and Houston. The growth of mosques in the northern Dallas suburbs is significant, with several currently under construction. New mosques are located in Frisco, Plano, Carrollton and Irving. Not including the new mosques under construction, there are now at least 13 active mosques in the northern suburbs.
