Sr. Cristina is appropriately representing her religious order, the Ursuline Sisters of the Holy Family, with the full support of her Mother Superior, Mother Agatha. The Ursulines run a performing arts school in Rome, called the Star Rosa Academy, where Sr. Cristian studied voice. Performing arts -— as a vehicle for evangerlization-—is part of the Ursuline mission.

I’m not Catholic, and about all I know about nuns is what I see in the movies. LOL
But it seems that all the nuns had to take a vow of poverty, modesty, shun pride, etc.- and this just didn’t seem appropriate to me for a nun to be singing and jiving around with the unsavory bunch she was appearing with.
