What is polk? Is it the same as pokeweed? I heard people eat it but it is poison if you don’t cook it a certain way.
I don’t know. Polk is all I have ever heard it called. My mother in law always just cooked it in bacon grease with seasonings. I’ll have to check out their family cookbook and see if any one ever submitted the recipe.
