Japanese beetles are a major problem around here. But I found a cheap and all natural sure fire trick to deal with them. Put a gallon of water, a handful of fresh chili peppers, a few dried chili peppers and some cayenne powder in a pot. (I cut the fresh ones and break open the dried ones) Bring it to a boil then simmer (with a lid on) for an hour. Cool, strain and put in a spray bottle - spray anything that is being bothered by the beetles. Works like a charms.

Thanks for that recipe,Gabz.

I no longer garden since I bought my condo but one of my sons has trouble with the beetles———I’ll pass this on to him.(I have lots of house plants, though.)

I always liked the natural remedies rather than the chemical ones.

Ciao,

M
