That’s so true. And for years they advised us to give it to our kids as a safer alternative than aspirin.
The other day I filled Rx for my grand daughter for children’s advil for fever. They just filled it right off the shelf in a box and stuck the label on it. The Rx flyer warned that it could cause strokes.
No where on the box or pamphlet inside did it warn of this.
I didn’t give them to her. I stuck her in the bath tub of cool water and gave her a glass of water with ice to drink instead. Told her mom she could give her whatever she wanted to, but I wasn’t going to use it.
I think that you did the right thing, and it probably worked much more quickly than a pill.
