I got the chance to see Dio, Motorhread and Iron Maiden (my personal favorite). Brought my daughter when she was in like 6th or 7th grade.
It left an impression on her ;) And Dio was freaking amazing live.
Man, I envy you and your daughter. Bruce Dickinson has got a great voice and a range like an air raid siren, but Dio was just more a pure singer, pitch-perfect, IMO. (This comes from a man was not only a choirboy, but who’s father was an opera tenor who sang professionally at The Met.) And Lemmy is.....Lemmy. LMAO!
