This weekend has blown by...and what a shame about California Chrome...
Hi, Vision! Yes, it looks like Ed’s going all D-Day all the way. It was sad about California Chrome, but that was no surprise. It was even sadder how the owner reacted, being such a poor sport about it.
What’s happening with you?
I’m good Gina. Volunteered at my church’s festival downtown yesterday. Some fascinating people watching. Some fun, some scary. It’s really disheartening to see so many attractive, seemingly educated young women so heavily tattooed. Other things were bizarre. Overall it was fun and a beautiful day.
I’ve been perfecting my burgers and am making progress. Been eating a lot of them lately and this weekend.
Some family are over at Normandy now for the anniversary.

Vision, I’m with you on the young people. I’m horrified at the demonic markings and piercings these kids profane their bodies with in such profusion. It’s rare to see clear skin today.
It’s a very warm day here. I’ve been doing the usual laundry and housework. Keith’s been low-and-slow smoking a butt that he injected with apple juice yesterday evening. Praise the Lord, all is well here.

Vision, did you catch Ed’s saying when he did this broadcast? His voice sounds quite a bit younger.
At least an all-DDay broadcast would put our problems in perspective.
My parents just returned from a cruise to Normandy. Dad’s a Korea vet. He was very touched by the beauty of the Americsn cemetery, and they were both impressed by the fortifications.

What’s new?
Now we're getting some thunder. I may or may not be tuning in in a few minutes. We had a real roof-shaker hit about 2 AM that kept bouncing the power, the cats all got a case of the vapors from the racket, and we both were walking around clutching flashlights. Looks like we may be about to get more of the same.
Ooooo. We're about to get a big one. Sounds like D-Day out my window! LOL
