Harrison Ford has been injured on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. The actor injured his ankle on Thursday, and was taken to a local hospital.

"Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates," said a statement from Disney.

A source tells THR that the actor, who reprises his role as Han Solo from the original franchise, was injured by the door of the Millennium Falcon, the spacecraft that his character pilots in the original films. The spaceship looks to be making a return in the sequel.

Ford, 71, along with the rest of the cast of Disney and Lucasfilm's project, is currently shooting the hotly anticipated J.J. Abrams film in England.

I was never exited by a 24 year old Han Solo, but that was just me.

Is the Millennium Falcon ADA compliant?

I know it has a ramp, but does it have hand rails on the entry and lavatories?

No, but it will have air bags and a high mounted third brake light................

I'm 70 years old. I have a classmate who climbed Mount Kilimanjaro two years ago. Next year, he and his climbing group are planning a climb and hope to be taking Parkinson's Disease patients with them.

What are you doing next year?

Me? I'm writing my second and third novels, hoping they find a reversal medication for diabetic neuropathy.

Harrison Ford was in his mid-30s in the first movie.

Anyway, my point was not that 71 is bad, but that the combination of that character, that actor, and that age seems like a drag to me.

I used to have Scott Glenn in a clothing ad (cut out of Forbes) on my desk at work. I'm always telling my husband that good clothes really matter to me, but ... When I left, I gave the ad to a girl ten years younger than me, along with a picture of my redheaded daughter who looked a lot like her. I'm sure she got some humor out of it.

Chewbacca might not be in the movie, he's got his own reality show "Wook Dynasty".

Have those guys been hanging out in the woods? That would account for all the bigfoot sightings.

Yes, I can see how if you taught them Sunday School, they're boys no matter what their age!

In any case, well-built young men are safe from this "old gal," no matter how nice their physiques, and would be even if I wasn't married for more than 25 years to an exceptionally handsome man who is also my best friend! No, I admire well-built younger men and their female counterpoints for that matter, as well as any other human figures of any age, the same way that I admire my cats -- as a piece of lovely moving sculpture wrought by the Almighty Himself, as worthy of appreciation as a rose or a beautiful sunset.

However, in terms of "lust," which being a Christian I consider as something to be avoided and discouraged, I am amused at myself to recognize that down deep in my gut, if I was single in search of romance, HANDS DOWN the fit, handsome gent in his 60s or 70s would appeal to me FAR more than an equally fit/handsome younger man. Older gents are usually wiser, kinder gents!
