The man who was killed approached the couple as they walked along the 3800 block of North Rampart Street at Alvar Street outside the old Frederick Douglass High School, according to a police spokesman. The man brandished a gun and demanded the pair walk to a building undergoing renovation, NOPD said.
The assailant, identified in police reports as Samuel Raines, began assaulting the woman, and the other man was able to get ahold of the weapon, NOPD said.
Police did not say what evidence led them to believe a sex crime occurred. They said a gun was recovered, but provided no information about where it was found or if fingerprints or other evidence linked it to Raines.

If this took place in March, it’s a little late for liberals to raise the usual fanfare, with mock outrage over the needless gun violence. But no doubt that’s what they’re doing now: calling every shooting near a school a school shooting. The reason for the shooting doesn’t matter; a person defending himself is the same as an insane liberal on meth.

Yeah, at least the Mexicans, have large families with a single wedded spouse and the vast majority of them are hard-working people. By and large, the AA “community” isn’t terribly productive in the conventional sense. Instead the produce offspring as a byproduct of sexual profligacy and leave them for the rest of the country to “raise.” And as if that isn’t bad enough, they are top of the list in any criminal activity you care to mention.
I read the obit and the name of the funeral home is the Baloney Funeral Home. Now I wonder about the story.
I noticed that, too. The whole obit is actually kind of comical in a sick way.
