yes, that was upstate NY this past weekend, where we were for a family wedding. Felt distinctly odd to walk out of the hotel into a COLD outdoors, after leaving VA which has been hot and humid lately.

ill-advised ensemble. AND seriously, what mother to be wears Christian Louboutin pumps[with the iconic red soles, as seen on the feet of K Guilfoyle, on the Five]?

Her thighs look like brats -- burnt brats.

Speaking of food and celebrities, I came across this article this morning. It's sort of fun and taught me a few things I hadn't known before. The pictures are nice, anyway.

Foods Named After People -- bet you didn't know these foods were named after real people

Some days when I'm febrile and feel rib pressure near the stomach, a dose of le fibre & a good "constitutional" usually clears things up…

ill-advised ensemble...

Indeed! She's being criticised elsewhere -- not because of how the pants fits -- but because she had the audacity to wear LEATHER to a Wildlife Fund raiser! [gasp!]

Today is the first day it has really felt like summer here. Very sticky.

The wedding went off great, weather was excellent. The best man’s toast was awesome. Lots of pulled pork in my refrigerator.

We may have a chicken casualty. The one smallest one got picked on real bad last night. They took her to the vet to see if they can do anything. You can see her skull, so I’m not hopeful there.

They truly are savages. I’m sorry. How are the ducks doing?

The ducks are fine.

This was the bantam chicken that we have been keeping inside some nights. She had been staying with the second flock (betas) instead of her original alpha flock, with the reds.

Last night when I closed them up, she was with the alphas. I thought she had more sense.

I thought it was the IRS that lost them,

Allegedly, they were lost when her computer crashed. Of course, they have backups all over the place. They are just lying and inviting republicans to do something about it.

I think they are on it. Some have requested the NSA pull up the meta data, which would show where things were sent and then those hard drives could be obtained for content. They have all the info and are just playing a game. We’ll see if anyone is up to the task of holding them accountable for their lies and obfuscation.

God-what is wrong with some people? That shouldn’t even be a joke...

I’m working on an estimate I need to deliver later...

Obama and his minions try
To put lipstick on the pig
Of a disaster that is Iraq,
But it is already too big

Their febrile attempts only
Make it seem worse every day
And all the terrorists know
Now is the time to come play

Maybe kidnap a soldier or two-
For some friends, or some cash-
Dig up and use all the weapons
Obama left there in the trash...

My compadre at work is convinced we are about to experience Saigon deja vu, choppers and all-and I think he is right...

I’ll take door number 1-lying is intentional-cowardice is despicable, but it doesn’t require the conscious use of an agenda...

What kind of books are you selling?

Old text books, some Ann Coulter, Clarence Thomas. Here is the link to my "store" http://www.amazon.com/gp/aag/main?ie=UTF8&asin=&isAmazonFulfilled=&isCBA=&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&orderID=&seller=A3L7HJDBIG7CD1

Thanks. I probably have more of those than you do. :) I gave tons of my mom’s books away when we closed up her house. I couldn’t ship them, and I had no way of handling their sale. The “expert” that the estate sale manager brought in did nothing, except take the best for herself and the bookcases too! I was 2000 miles away and had no say in it. I’m trying not to relive it!

Some of mom’s books were valuable, but I just have to forget all about it.

You did the best you could and that was enough. A mother would not have expected more.
