The nice thing about Stallone movies is there is no heavy thinking or moralizing. You know you can just sit back and enjoy the show.

“You know you can just sit back and enjoy the show.”

I’m only 60, younger than most of these guys. I work out nearly every day. Under certain bad lighting conditions I have ridges. I watched the last one thinking, “Nope. No way. Eh-eh.” Can’t Hollywood find an American male who is younger and macho enough to believably (for a given value of believability) pull off these stunts?

I wasted my money in the first one...I am still a quick learner.

One of the things that hurt Indiana Jones, in his last movie, was Indiana, a 60 year old adventurer-college professor, being able to take on a Russian super-soldier, a foot taller and at least 50 lbs heavier and having gotten the best combat training the Russian military had to offer. The idea was laughable at best.

I should also add the more dangerous stunts Harrison Ford performed in the movie were so obviously made safe for him that it ruined the movie.

I so wanted that movie to be good. I loved Harrison Ford, but his role should have been suited to his age. I was wondering, where are the macho looking American male actors? DiCaprio? (Oh, please!)Have we sunk to such a low metrosexualism we need to borrow French actors so they look like they fit the role?

Part 1 was pretty good. Part 2 was face palm bad.

I’ll skip this one. Cable/DVD watching only.

Stallone lost me when he opened his pie hole advocating gun control.
