I like the draft picks because they’re mostly forwards. It will be interesting to see how these guys turn out. I find the children of former NHLers generally have better training at an earlier age. That makes it harder to see if they’ve simply maxed out their talent level or are actually more talented. It’ll be fun watching them.
From what I’ve read this new guy, Hornqvist, likes to get in front of the goalie and works hard crashing the net.
If so, that’s the kind of stuff we need.
And everyone drafted is 6 feet or taller. Another good direction. Now, three months of no hockey. Bummer!
