A newly divorced drug salesman for a major pharmaceutical company bought the house across from mine. (Upper middle class as befitting his newly poor position.) He told me that he got a computer printout of all the drugs he sold that were prescribed by doctors he visited. He’d then meet them on the golf course and give them an envelope full of cash; a flat percentage of the profit.
