You know, for some reason, I actually thought that 4 years on, maybe, just maybe, World Cup soccer (oops, I mean "football" - no, I mean freaking SOCCER!) would be less annoying than it was in 2010. Well, to be fair, it IS much less annoying without those bloody zuzuvalas (or whatever they were called), but the drama-queen leg grabbing and rolling around are just ridiculous.
I think they should get some NHL refs to work soccer games for a while, and start penalizing them for diving and faking fouls, until those p*ssies stop whining like babies and flopping around like beached fish all the time. And they wonder why soccer doesn't catch on in the US? Maybe it's got something to do with the fact that we don't like poor sportsmanship, and there's no other word to describe the way those players try to draw fouls constantly.
God I hate soccer, almost as much as I hate the fact that I STILL watch it because the scoring plays can be so great to watch.
