At Coney Island you can check out the pretty girls -- or the freaks on the boardwalk. New rides have opened this summer as well.

Summer in New York can be a beach, all right.

The five boroughs boast 14 miles of free, city shoreline that are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Labor Day.

Hopefully no members of the Great Unwashed have plans to visit the beaches of Martha's Vineyard this summer.People far, far,*far* better than us reserve the entire island every summer from early June to late September.

The White House has announced that Obama The Great plans to spend the month of August there.Of course he'll be working all the while on ways that he can blame Bush for the IRS matter.

In the middle of the last century, Wildwood, NJ was a popular beach town. Does it still attract bathers?
