Obama doesn’t intend to go away in 2.5 years.
He’ll no longer be president but with his organization (which he’s refused to share with the Democrat party to help with the 2014 elections), he will maintain the reins of the Rat party if not discredited. If a Rat he doesn’t anoint or a Republican wins in 2016, he’ll use his organization to run a shadow government.
The Clintons want to get rid of him once and for all as “king” of the Rat party. That’s the context in which I made the statement.
It will be next to impossible, IMO, for an ex-president to maintain control of the Party. He almost immediately becomes irrelevant.
I remember claims that B. Clinton would remain a power broker in the party after leaving office. As far as I can tell, didn’t happen.
