Perfect!!!

$17.76 per 5 round box???
How convenient...hehehe
i don’t get the shrill hateful overreaction against google glass & now drones. most drones are hobbyist, iow specifically radio control[rc] hobby enthusiasts flying either planes, helicopters or the variantly configured multicopters.
camera smart phones are easily concealed & outright covert. yet i’ve never seen them provoke as much vitriol unless from cops, who as yet haven’t threatened to shoot one.
I believe the vitriol is due to the totality of the issue...The potential for abuse of your privacy...
Think of it this way...If you knew someone put a mirror on their shoe and shoved it up underneath your wife’s skirt to get a free shot...
Don’t tell me, deep down, that if you caught them in the act, or about to violate your sensibilities, you would not clean their clock??? And feel good about it??? Knowing the rest of us would agree in principle, if not wish we could have helped...You would not have acted on that discovery???
Just replace the shoe mirror with the technology...
Now, as far as the R/C community goes...I have not seen or heard that that activity of active observation while in the control of that model(s) is going on...I think they have enough to do to control it while observing from a distance, than to be doing that, and watching some person in a private moment...
Just my take on it...
These new drones that re commercially available are kinda neat in that it allows a modicum of automatic attitude control of the device, and the ability to record and actively monitor (if mounted) a camera and give the operator that real time, eye in the sky feel to what the device is flying around...
I would certainly not condone flying a device like this in and around pausing hear windows of an apartment complex of neighborhood in peoples backyards or bedroom windows either...
Ohhhh, BTW, just a quick recollection...
Back right after 9/11, I vaguely recall the concern that terrorist might use an R/C type model to fly those into the flight path of a commercial airliner...The odds could have been in their favor to cause a problem...I remember some folks in this forum had “gamed” it out...
Has that ever been proven to be a cause of any accidents or acts of terror in the years after that day???
I have not heard of one anywhere...But that doesn’t mean it can’t ever happen...
I think you might agree that the R/C community as a whole are not a problem, nor would this technology be something they would exploit...But it might still be something to keep on the back burner of the memory banks...
I believe that we need pictorial evidence of whether this potential privacy intrusion was lawful or not...
but of course, thus my point about smart phones having not received the same reaction when they can be used similarly.
any immoral, inappropriate, illegal, unconstitutional invasion of privacy should not be allowed. but should any technology that has the potential to be used for evil be destroyed on sight ? ie google glass, drones.
I think you might agree that the R/C community as a whole are not a problem.
yes, they appear to not be a problem, but only to the rational & to those that know they aren't a problem.
& yet i've observed posted public comments in several net articles on drones, the intention to shoot, break & or steal any craft they see or seize.
this is a serious problem for hobbyists.
the public doesnt seem capable of discerning intentions or ownership.
You bet...We are not far apart on the overall issue...
Poor woman, she was just minding her own business, getting ready to go out and participate in the Seattle Naked 5K Run and this happens.
