Now is the time to speak with your City Councils, Mayors, County Commissioners, police chiefs, sheriffs, political leaders.
Let them know that you understand there will not be any confiscations in your area without them first knowing about the planned event and having either vocally approved it or having withheld their voice which is silent approval.
Tell them that they will instantly become targets if such an event does occur. Their families and friends will become targets. Their homes and vehicles will become targets.
The one and only way for them to remove themselves from the target list is to get on the local radio and TV stations and forewarn the people of what they know about the impending confiscation situation. Prove that they are members of the community and that they believe in protecting the rights of the people.
Yes, you will probably be removed from a few party and BBQ lists as a result of this face to face meeting but you will continue living in relative freedom. So gather a few friends together, have a discussion about how to phrase everything and then go and meet with your local officials.
