U.S. World Cup players regrouped quickly after Portugal game
U.S. midfielder Graham Zusi said Coach Juergen Klinsmann quickly took control of the situation by refusing to let the team sulk.

"He came into the locker room very positive, as always," Zusi said. "Obviously, we were pretty gutted at the end of that one but in hindsight, when you look back at it, we put ourselves in a great spot. Four points after two matches, I think any of us would've taken that.

Greece Scores Late to Advance at World Cup
Greece doesn't score often at the World Cup, but its goals certainly come at the right time.

Greece doubled its total scoring tally at World Cup tournaments by netting twice against the Ivory Coast on Tuesday — the second coming through an injury-time penalty that secured a 2-1 victory and a spot in the knockout rounds.

Having gone scoreless through its first two games in Brazil — a loss and a draw — the Greeks are now improbably into the round of 16 for the first time in their history — when European powers like Spain, Italy and England are going home.

I hope Jurgen said “Boys, don’t get your daubers in the dirt. Michael Bradley won’t be playing the next game!”

Now that would certainly give the squad some hope!
