What a disappointment in MS last night! Lost by what 7k votes?
Meanwhile we had a fun day yesterday. Took oldest son’s Buick in for inspection finally. But before it was done his wife called me and said he had an accident at work. He managed to drop an entire pallet of bottled water on his foot.
Of course mrs p6 was gone, youngest so was gone and I didn’t have a car. Turned out ok. I got in touch with a friend who is best buds with youngest son. He was able to take the oldest son to the emergency care place near where mrs p6 works. She was able to leave early and be with him. Foot isn’t broken but he’s not going for any hikes anytime soon, LOL.
Did get the Buick back and it passed. Sure did put a lot of work in it.
Of course I am dead tired today...spent a lot of time worrying.
Oh no! Did he break his foot?? Isn’t it typical that nobody is around when you need them! Thank goodness for your son’s buddy!
HUMID here! Of course, I just got done drying clothes. Got my “Mother-of-the-groom dress ironed and ready to take to the consignment shop. I’ll never wear it again. Might as well get something back for it! Also the silver shoes and purse to match!

I feel your Buick pain. Our 05 Focus goes in Sat for inspection. Don’t know what we will do if it fails (we think just brake pads and front tires). 4 drivers, 3 jobs, 2 cars, and the youngest (w/no summer job) has had to turn down umpiring opportunities because no way to get to field (not a lot of money, but they pay the kids in cash and left over concession stand food).
Sigh. Come on PaLottery...right now my only hope :-/
