Red herring. The dog owner’s law-abiding abilities are not in question.

The dog, however, posed danger to the officer. The dog, being an animal, did not know when to retreat, hence it got shot.

Go back and reread the article unless you enjoy spouting ignorance.

A hint: “Sheriff’s Deputies came out of the woods onto her front yard, and that’s when they shot her dog four times.

“The first time he tried to run. I don’t think it hit him,” she said. “They still continued to shoot him, and he eventually ran around to the side of my house, died and collapsed by my air conditioner.”

On the other hand, you *could* continue so that the “gods” are not displeased with your failure to chant their praises.

What Yahweh thinks of such blind faith in them is another matter, of course.
