A review of the Veterans Affairs health care system by a top White House aide has concluded that there are, quote, "significant and chronic systemic failures" that the VA's leadership must address.
A summary of the review by deputy White House chief of staff Rob Nabors says the Veterans Health Administration must be restructured and that a, quote, "corrosive culture" has hurt morale and affected the timeliness of health care.
The review also found that a 14-day standard for scheduling veterans' medical appointments is unrealistic and has been susceptible to manipulation.

Did the review mention all the time and money wasted to “green” the VA. I think over $20M was wasted at Phoenix facility alone. Shinseki was running around touting it as a major accomplishment.
Just like the Office of Climate Change that was created by siphoning off millions of dollars from the National Weather Service, causing a boatload of Meteorology grads to look elsewhere for jobs.

Step 2: Announce a full investigation, perhaps by a “blue ribbon” panel.
Step 3: Refuse to comment on the situation until the panel has reported.
Step 4: Refuse to comment on the situation after the panel has reported, as it is “old news”.
The MSM will of course run interference for Obama the entire time. Headlines will instead report that back in 1980 Ted Cruz littered on a public street.
They think 14 days is unrealistic? That reads like they expect more than 14 days.
When I need healthcare, I want it now, not 14 days from now.
