Reds also prepared to sell bite-ban star to Barcelona for Alexis Sanchez plus £50m they'd then use on Benfica winger Rodgers has long coveted

Liverpool will sell Luis Suarez to Barcelona for £80million - and buy Benfica's Lazar Markovic with the windfall.

The Reds are prepared to offload striker Suarez following his four-month ban from all football for biting Italy's Georgio Chiellini at the World Cup this week - but only if Barca meet their valuation.

The Spanish giants' new coach Luis Enrique says he still wants the Uruguayan bad boy, comparing him to former Nou Camp firebrand Hristo Stoickhov.

The Reds, who are already speaking to the Catalan giants about acquiring Chile World Cup star Alexis Sanchez, will do business and bankroll manager Brendan Rodgers to rebuild their attack.

Would be an awful move for Barcelona.

There is no way that Suarez could work together with Lionel Messi and Neymar at Barcelona. He would not be able to handle being the #3 star of the team.
