1. No harpsichord. If you begin to listen to music with a harpsichord, turn it off. The only time a harpsichord is appropriate is in watching reruns of the Addams Family.
2. No Sting. Sting and his music are everything that is wrong with metrosexual men, Europe, and the Left.

No Sting. Sting and his music are everything that is wrong with metrosexual men, Europe, and the Left. I'm not even close to being well schooled on "Sting's" work but he's been involved in at least two things that I enjoy..."Do They Know It's Christmas?" being one of them.

William F. Buckley HAD a harpsichord, and played it for a well-known freeper’s wife when she was on a professional visit and excused herself from the room for a nursing break.

I’ve had Bach’s harpsichord concertos in my music collection for over 35 years. Love um!
But I love Italian Baroqe even more...Albinoni, Boccherini,Corelli, Manfredini, Geminiani etc even more...

As for Mr Sting, who is he?

The piano isn't good enough? It is clear from your writing that you are in need of a substantive music appreciation course.
But for the harpsichord one wouldn't have had the predicate model for what eventually became the piano.

Sting is a musician from Europe who has been going through menopause his entire life.
Anything done with a harpsichord can be made better with a piano.

You remind me of the British conductor Sir Thomas Beecham who once said that the harpsichord sounded like “two skeletons copulating on a corrugated tin roof.”
Although I disagree...

No way I’m giving up Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos.
