Yes, MalwareBytes should do it but in order to run it, you may need to restart in Safe Mode w/ Networking, and run a utility called “RKill” first, to stop any running processes that manage to load.
Also, I would recommend running Sophos Anti-Rootkit as well to make sure you don’t just get reinfected.
Finally, with these types of infections, even after the malware is gone, your internet settings will probably still be screwed up. You may need to run these commands from the command prompt (Start Menu > Run > cmd.exe):
netsh winsock reset (then press enter)
and:
netsh int ip reset (press enter again)
After that, you need to restart the computer.
Also, make sure to check your browser settings under proxy settings and delete any proxy server that is set up there.
Safe mode!!! Install in regular mode then Run malware bytes in safe mode
