Continuing track of Arthur.
Joe has been posting at WUWT, and I've been reading that since I fired up the computer this morning. I've learned an amazing amount of stuff, not just from Joe, but from people who post in response! So I got to Joe's post at Weatherbell kinda late. But here it is!
Ping to Joe Bastardi update on Arthur.
By the way, I got an amazing amount of FReepmail from so many people that I broke down in tears. I can’t begin to thank all of you so much. You are a great bunch of FReepers!
My son treated me to a movie yesterday morning (How to Train Your Dragon 2), and that was a nice break from everything. I saw Dragon 1 at home only because everybody else was watching it, and was amazed at how good it was. Seeing it in the theater was worth it.
Enjoy your July 4, it’s the only free country we’ve got! (A little JB paraphrase, there. ;) )
Thanks for the update. Happy Independence Day to you & yours!

“...in the theater...”
I can’t remember the last time I saw an in-theater movie; might have been ‘Jaws’ back in the mid-70s, or something. Duh.
Thank you, Excellence.
Good to see Joe is taking credit for his on the money forecast which he posted a week ago. He is a great source of anti global warming info too.
Thanks for the links. Forgot those. Looking at Joe’s Twitter feed.
Bastardi on Arthur. Sunday — clear skies and following seas.
There might have been 10 people there, including a grandmother who had been brought by her grandson. It was good to see such a young man (barely old enough to drive) out with his granny. There have been times when we almost have the entire theater to ourselves.
There must have been a hundred dragons shown, each one designed individually. That kind of detail just doesn’t show up on a small screen. CGI just gets more amazing with every movie that comes out. I want to go back and see the 3D version.
Happy day to you, too. I’m going with my son to the fairgrounds where he will be the “dunkee” in a charity dunking tank. Oh the pictures I will take!
Edible flag! Which reminds me I need to put mine up. Right now.
Joe’s got a good record, and I always appreciate his advice.
I note he is one of the few who point out when he occasionally gets it wrong.... IOW, an honest voice.
True, dat.
Thanks Excellence. Enjoy your Independence Day Weekend!
Happy 4th, Excellence (and to all y’all).
Thank you for posting the thread!
Thanks for the Ping.
Thanks. It does look like Arthur will be past us before we sail from Baltimore on Sunday.
