No. I want the guilty punished. UNDER THE RULE OF LAW.

I don't approve of the unlawful and unprofessional actions of this officer.

Go read the part of the thread I objected to. It was about non-judicial 'jailhouse' punishment of getting other inmates to punish the cop.

You and I both know this guy won’t be punished. He’s currently on paid administrative leave. As soon as the public stops paying attention, he’ll be back in his patrol car like nothing happened. He, and other abusive pigs like him will be emboldened to commit more acts of brutality. And a year from now, we’ll shake our heads and mutter on this site and wonder what can be done about the continued militarization of the police force.

The classic school bully, protected by the school from retaliation from his victim will escalate his behavior to criminal activities. If he gets the snot beaten out of him, he learns how to conduct himself in a civilized manner.
This cop, and others like him, needs a reeducation by 6 guys with baseball bats. The lesson will be “you treat members of the public with dignity and respect , and you keep the free use of your limbs.” Clearly his bosses don’t have any interest in seeing him punished.
