That sounds like a really refreshing summery drink. Thanks for sharing.
And so it begins. I don't know how I missed Rho. And my penmanship bites.
But, it's what the kids have, and they shall manage.
Next week gets a bit more intense for them. They have a full day of drawing letters on full sheets of paper, and learning the alpha-beta song.
And the 14 year olds are sorta/almost/but not quite miffed that they got suckeredconvinced to help me teach the little kids just 24 letters (upper and lower case, in order, and be able to write them). Turns out the teens are accidentally learning stuff without meaning to.
They know the greek god Poseidon because of a stupid kids movie. Psi uses the trident, symbol of Poseidon, as it's base. Starts with a 'P'. Boytwin was upset that he accidentally learned something he won't ever be able to forget. (Don't tell them about Neptune)
Bwahahahaha!

I made up a jug of Cucumber Mint Water and I’ve been drinking it for two days. I like it; however the mint in my patch doesn’t have the strongest flavor and I’d like more mint taste. I added a handful to the blender with a cup of water, then strained out the mint and even that didn’t give me what I want. Next year, I’ll plant some better mint. This little patch is from 20 years ago when I had different mints in pots & of course, some escaped by self-sowing. We’ve never cut this one down since it’s in part of a flower bed. The bees and butterflies love it when it blooms, so it’s a garden fixture more than used for culinary purposes. Since I’m allergic to aspertame, I drink SoBe lifewater now and again when I need something with ‘flavor’ .... the Cucumber Mint Water is a decent substitute, a lot cheaper & it used up a cuke or two and we have plenty of them in the garden right now (freezer pickle time!)
