I don’t recall the OP mentioning any permits pulled for improvements.

And this is not an appraisal for the sale of the home. it’s an appraisal for the taxable value of the home, something they almost always inflate way past market value.

The problem is that, despite what they tell you about comparatives and blah blah, by the time you buy your second house you know that the "science" of appraisal is entirely subjective.

You don’t know that he isn’t there to snoop; he is government and could be there to scope out who has what. I am always extremely wary even if Time Warner or DISH says they need something inside.
