Texas A&M will be just fine. They were very young on defense last year and have had great recruiting classes the last few years.
Alabama gets great recruits, but many of them had great coaching in high school and don’t have as much upside as recruits at other schools because they are already close to their maximum potential.
Alabama stars are not exactly tearing it up in the NFL with a few exceptions.

I think you’re right about the latter, but in reality, they’ll be YOUNGER this year than they were last. There was only 1 sophomore with any significant playing time last year, which means not a lot of returning upperclassmen but a whole lot of freshman and sophomores. I hope he recruited speed — something no Aggie coach since Slocum has bothered to do.
