The description of Smart by your friend reminds me of the killing of a Texas college student across the border from Brownwood a few decades back. The leader of the ring practiced Santeria. A professor at the University there said “I’m not a religious man. But I won’t go across that border without a cross around me neck.” People like Smart are evil. When you look into their eyes, you’re looking at demons.
