Decarol Deloney-Cain was often gone for days at a time, so family thought nothing of her absence. The soon-to-be-divorced mother of three was identified by the serial numbers on her breast implants.

The body of a woman found in an abandoned car in Gary, Ind., has been identified as belonging to Decarol Deloney-Cain, 54, a longtime flight attendant for United Airlines.

She was often gone for days at a time because of her job, so family members thought nothing of her absence, the Chicago-Sun Times reported Wednesday.

Police responding to a call about a car left on a gravel road found Deloney-Cain’s decomposing body in the trunk on Monday.

Generally you take the serial number and find out which manufacturer made the implant and call them and cross reference it. I haven’t done it but that’s how I understand it works.

I once saw a homicide investigator on The Crime Channel say that when investigating a murder "before you look at the outlaws you look at the in-laws".
